Take Care, Good Knight is a great book that follows three dragons and their attempt to help care for the cats of an old wizard while he goes out of town. The wizard leaves a list for the dragons to follow but sadly, the dragons cannot read. They try to interpret the drawings on the list and in their misadventures with the cats a friendly knight stops to help.
This is a great character book as it teaches children the importance of helping others. The knight helps the dragons who are helping the wizard. It also shows how important it is to be able to read, as the dragons find out when they are presented with the list.
